ALEX'S LEMONADE STAND AT THE BELLEVUE! The Bellevue is participating in The 8th Annual Lemonade Days in its stand against childhood cancer! Alex and her family are an inspiration to all of us, and we are making the same stand Alex did - selling lemonade to combat cancer, because when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. We hope that you will join us for a tall glass of hope, inspiration, and joy, as we paint The Bellevue yellow to raise funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand.

History
The Bellevue-Stratford opened its doors in 1904 and became known worldwide as Philadelphia's pre-eminent hotel, nicknamed 'The Grande Dame of Broad Street.' Famed hotelier George C. Boldt (he also managed the Waldorf-Astoria in New York) wanted to build the best hotel of its time and he did.
